The Gentleman

Ya no quedan junglas

A **brooding revenge thriller** that blends **emotional depth** with **gritty action**. Anchored by **Ron Perlman’s performance**, it explores **grief**, **memory**, and **moral decay** through a stylized narrative of **violence** and **redemption**. Directed by **Gabriel Beristain**, cinematographer on _Blade II_, _Black Widow_, and _The Beekeeper_.

Theo, or The Gentleman as he is known to some, is an aging, former American soldier whose lonely and miserable existence plays out between his memories of a better past with his late wife, the hours wasted in a seedy bar along with other old, evicted men, and his Thursdays. Thursdays are the days when he sees Olga, a Ukrainian prostitute that he pays for her conversation, reminiscing about who they once were and dreaming about what could have been. Only in that weekly hour every does The Gentleman ever feel alive.
