This short film from BAFTA award winning filmmaker Akinola Davies Jr. is a celebration of home and belonging in South London. When he first heard ‪@cktrl‬ ‘s album Spirit, Akinola was floored—and knew it needed a visual language to match its cinematic scale. Here in this resulting short film shot in 16mm, the pair have brought that vision to life together.
