In the weeks following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the filmmaker Nadia Parfan returns home to Kyiv after traveling abroad. There, she finds neighbours and family adapting to their new wartime reality. Her film provides a window into the everyday lives of Ukrainians, for whom refusing to give up home is an act of resistance.
