A new era is dawning for racers and sim racers. Since December 2020, it has been clear that BMW wants to conquer the racetracks of the real and virtual worlds with its new icon, the BMW M4 GT3. But that’s not all. For the first time, BMW has entered into a cooperation with sim racing hardware manufacturer FANATEC that combines reality and simulation through a new high-tech steering wheel. At the same time, iRacing, the market leader for computer-based racing simulations, is developing the new BMW M4 GT3 for virtual use. With this unique technology transfer, virtual and real motorsport are moving closer together than ever before – a true added value for all motorsport enthusiasts.
