Futa is a young man who has moved from the city to the countryside, working diligently in the fields without any luck. He is unable to earn enough money to pay off his debt to Okura, the boss of a loan shark. Futa’s partner Minori, senses that he is in pain and offers her ring to him in exchange for money. Futa hesitantly goes to town, but falls for a suspicious man’s personal story and is cheated out of the ring. Futa chases after the man and arrives at a bar where he encounters a seductive woman, named Yoko. It is not until later, Futa finds out Minori has been keeping a secret away from him. Their bond is tossed about by bizarre people, and before long they find themselves lost in a world that is neither dream nor reality.
